This one’s a personal favorite. I chuckle every time I see it.
Speaking of pin ups, did you know that Hugh Hefner is tweeting? Yep, now you can follow the breathless updates from the nonstop lifestyle of America’s favorite creepy old man. Some recent gems from his twitter feed:
I’m playing gin rummy with the guys tonight
Going in for my annual physical check-up this afternoon. Playing games with the girls tonight.
We spent the afternoon in the Game House playing backgammon & hanging out with the girls.
My blonde obsession began with the movies in the 1930s, with Jean Harlow, Jean Rogers (in “Flash Gordon”), Alice Faye and Betty Grable.
Watched a great film on song writer Johnny Mercer on TCM. He wrote the songs I fell in love to in my teens.
Thanksgiving is coming up next week. Here’s Brian Regan with a few thoughts about food.
Okay, so it’s not a beer ad. But it’s still funny.
I was surfing our corporate master’s website when I stumbled across this scrumptious little shirt. Now who doesn’t love a pin up girl? I’m not talking about porn stars; I’m not talking about actresses who also happen to be pretty. I’m talking about that unique class of classy, beautiful women who are sometimes inexplicably famous and always look great in stills. Once again, I’m lifting the recipe for this tasty treat from our favorite mixologist here in the lounge, Colleen Graham.
So, here we go. Gather these:
Do this:
What, you’re going to complain that this PB&J has no bread? Have I explained our get-over-it policy here in the Lounge? Let me know if you need a refresher on that one.
So, on Monday I declared it National Leopard Print Month here in the Lounge. I’m still not sure why I did that. I suppose I was drunk with power or perhaps just drunk but, we’re stuck with it now.
How shall we celebrate? Personally, I’ve been wrapped in my leopard print snuggie ever since the announcement. Of course our corporate sponsor would like me to point out the delightful leopard print bowling shirt available on their website. You’re strongly encouraged to be wearing one on your next visit to the Lounge.
How else can we celebrate National Leopard Print Month? Leave your suggestions in the comments section.
There’s a funny series of ads from Hahn that feature beautiful women and doofy (it’s a word, derivative of doofus!) men. Here are a few.
